Reporting policy violations

Exchstore relies on its community to help maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace. If you encounter content or behavior that violates our policies, we encourage you to report it promptly. Your reports are reviewed by our moderation team and help us take action quickly.

1. What You Can Report

You can submit a report for any of the following:

Listing Violations
  • Prohibited items being sold (weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, etc.)
  • Misleading, fraudulent, or fake listings
  • Spam or duplicate listings
  • Listing in the wrong category
  • Inappropriate or offensive images
  • Copyright-infringing content
User Behavior Violations
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive language in messages
  • Impersonation of another user, business, or staff member
  • Scam attempts (fake payments, advance fee requests, phishing)
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban
Transaction Violations
  • Non-delivery of paid items
  • Non-payment after item handover
  • Bait-and-switch tactics (different item shown vs. described)

2. How to Submit a Report

Reporting a Listing

To report a specific listing:

  • Open the listing page
  • Click the ‘Report Ad’ button (visible on every listing)
  • Select the most appropriate reason from the menu
  • Add any additional details in the comment field
  • Submit your report
Reporting a User

To report a user:

  • Visit their public profile page
  • Click the ‘Report User’ option
  • Describe the issue and submit
Reporting via Email

For complex issues, fraud, or urgent safety concerns, contact us directly at:

  • report@exchstore.com

Please include: your username, the reported user’s username or ad URL, a detailed description, and any supporting evidence (screenshots, photos).

3. What Happens After You Report

After receiving your report:

  • Our team will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
  • The report will be reviewed by a trained moderator
  • Action will be taken if a violation is confirmed (listing removal, warning, suspension, or ban)
  • You may receive a follow-up notification regarding the outcome, where appropriate

📌 Note: We take all reports seriously and treat them with confidentiality. The reported user will not know who filed the report.

4. Good-Faith Reporting

We ask that all reports be made in good faith. Submitting false reports to harm competitors, intimidate other users, or manipulate our platform is itself a policy violation and may result in action against the reporting account.

5. Emergency Situations

If a listing or user interaction involves an immediate threat to personal safety, please contact local law enforcement (Rescue 1122 / Police 15) immediately in addition to reporting to Exchstore.
