1. Respectful Communication

All communication on Exchstore — including messages, listing descriptions, and public comments — must be respectful and professional. The following are prohibited:

• Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any user
• Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language based on religion, ethnicity, gender, age, or disability
• Unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• Impersonating other users, businesses, or Exchstore staff

2. Honest Listings

Sellers are expected to:

• Accurately describe the condition, age, and features of items
• Use real photos of the actual item being sold
• State prices clearly and not engage in bait-and-switch tactics
• Update or remove listings as soon as items are sold
• Disclose known defects or issues with items

3. Fair Dealing

Users should:

• Honor agreed prices and not change them at the last moment
• Show up for agreed meetings or notify the other party if plans change
• Not negotiate in bad faith or waste other users’ time
• Complete payments as agreed without unnecessary delay

4. Safety in Transactions

For your personal safety, we recommend:

• Meeting in public, well-lit, and busy locations for in-person exchanges
• Bringing a friend or family member to high-value transactions
• Inspecting items thoroughly before completing payment
• Avoiding cash transactions for high-value items when possible — use traceable methods
• Never sharing sensitive financial information (bank PINs, OTPs) with other users

5. Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors will result in listing removal and/or account suspension:

• Posting fake or test listings
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans
• Leaving fake reviews or manipulating trust signals
• Attempting to divert transactions off-platform to avoid fees or protections
• Coordinating with others to report legitimate users
