If you encounter a seller who seems dishonest, is attempting a scam, or is violating Exchstore’s policies, please report them immediately. Your report helps protect other buyers in the community and allows our team to take swift action.

When Should You Report a Seller?

You should report a seller if they:

• Listed a fake, misrepresented, or stolen item
• Asked you to pay outside Exchstore’s messaging system through suspicious links
• Sent you fraudulent payment confirmations or fake transfer screenshots
• Disappeared after you made a payment or sent an advance
• Used abusive, threatening, or harassing language
• Are posting duplicate or spam ads
• Are impersonating another user or a known brand

How to Report an Ad

1. Open the listing Go to the ad posted by the suspicious seller on Exchstore.
2. Click the Report button Scroll down on the ad page and tap the “Report this ad” link, or click the flag/report icon near the seller’s name.
3. Select a reason Choose the most accurate reason from the list (e.g., Scam, Fake item, Spam, Offensive content).
4. Add details (optional but helpful) Briefly describe what happened. Include any specific messages or details that support your report. More context = faster action.
5. Submit the report Tap Submit. Our Trust & Safety team will review your report, usually within 24 hours.

How to Report a User Profile

If you want to report the seller’s account directly (not just one ad), visit their profile page and click the Report User button. This flags their entire account for review.

Already Been Scammed?If you have already lost money, do not just report on Exchstore — also file a complaint with your local consumer protection authority or cybercrime unit. Keep all chat screenshots and transaction records as evidence.

What Happens After You Report?

• Our Trust & Safety team reviews every report, typically within 24 hours.
• If the report is verified, the ad or account is suspended immediately.
• Repeat offenders are permanently banned from Exchstore.
• You will receive a confirmation that your report was received. We may follow up if we need more information.
