Images are a big deal on Exchstore — good photos lead to faster sales. So when the upload tool refuses to cooperate, it’s genuinely frustrating. Here’s what’s usually going wrong, and how to get your photos up quickly.
Image Requirements on Exchstore
- Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP
- Maximum file size: 5 MB per image
- Minimum dimensions: 300 × 300 pixels
- Maximum images per listing: 10 photos
- Images must not contain watermarks or third-party logos
Troubleshooting Upload Failures
1
Check the file size and format
Convert HEIC (iPhone) or RAW files to JPG before uploading. Use a free online converter if needed. Compress images over 5 MB.
2
Try a different browser
Certain browsers handle file uploads differently. Chrome and Firefox tend to be the most reliable for Exchstore uploads.
3
Disable browser extensions
Ad blockers and privacy tools sometimes block the image upload script. Try uploading in a private/incognito window with extensions disabled.
4
Check your internet connection speed
Slow connections cause large image uploads to time out. Connect to a faster network or compress your images before uploading.
5
Upload from the mobile app
If the browser upload keeps failing, try uploading directly through the Exchstore mobile app, which often handles image uploads more smoothly.
📱iPhone users: iOS saves photos in HEIC format by default, which Exchstore doesn’t currently support. Go to Settings → Camera → Formats and select Most Compatible to save future photos as JPG automatically.
